What to Expect
Why is it called the Asheville Cesspool of Synths?
Back in 2011, NC State Senator James Forrester labeled Asheville as a “cesspool of sin” … Of course; AVL adopted this branding with relish and got T-shirts and mugs printed and everything!
… Also – what with Moog and Make Noise here, AVL really is the synth capital of the universe
Hence … Cesspool of Synths!
What happens at tACoS?
Just show up!
… If you’d like to share something you’ve been synthesizing then be ready to jump in whenever there’s a moment.
You can perform a short solo or group set you have prepared.
You can be ready to collaborate and improvize.
You can plug in to power and PA in the garage.
Bring beverages and snax.
